Lila Jane's Dedication

"These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." Deut. 6:6-7
Last month, we dedicated Lila Jane at church. It is our prayer that we raise her to love Jesus and that she would accept Him as her Savior at an early age. What a privilege it is to be chosen by God to raise this precious girl!

Zoobee

Our little elf, Zoobee, arrived at our house and brought Maggie and Lila Jane breakfast and some presents straight from the North Pole. He moves every night and Maggie loves to find him every morning!

Thankful.

"From the fullness of His grace, we have received one blessing after another." John 1:16

This verse truly sums up how I felt this Thanksiving. We were able to spend time with family, watch the cousins play in the beautiful weather, eat great food and love on a sweet new baby. God is so good and my cup truly runneth over.

Sweet Friends

Maggie and Madeline are such sweet friends and I am so thankful that they will grow up together!

Breakfast with Santa

My mom, Lisa and I took the kids to Christmas Magic and had breakfast with Santa. They loved singing, making an ornament and seeing Santa! Maggie actually sat on his lap this year and told him what she wanted which is a princess castle, princess bike and a Sleeping Beauty dress. I was so proud. They looked so cute!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch this year with some sweet friends and had a blast! There were animals to feed, a bounce house, ponies to ride and of course pumkins to pick!

Halloween

Maggie was SO excited about Halloween this year. She knoew she wanted to be a lion probably since this summer. She was very particular. It was to be a costume with a headpiece and she did not want any makeup on her face. I think she was the cutest lion ever! Lila Jane did not dress up this year. On Halloween we headed to Dallas to confirm that Lila Jane had hip dysplacia like Maggie did. Sadly she did and we have her in a Pavlik harness until Christmas. It was so much harder the second time around for us. We know that there are so many much more serious things that could be wrong but when you have to put your sweet baby in a harness it just plain stinks. She had a hard time adjusting to it which was tough on us but I am happy to say we get to take it off Christmas (22 days and counting!) and we are praying that everything is fixed. So needless to say, Halloween was an emotional day and Lila Jane was exhausted so she was in her car seat sans costume this year. Next year she will wear one for sure! We were very busy that night trick or treating at granparents, going to a fun party and ending the night at our churches trunk or treat.
