Updated...

I have not updated the blog in awhile but I finally did today. Maggie is changing everyday and is getting so big! I cannot believe that she will be 5 months next week. She is smiling all of the time and laughing more everyday. We are getting a schedule down which is so nice for everyone! Here is a picture of her smiling for her daddy!

I love this little girl so much!!

Fourth of July

For Maggie's first Fourth of July, we headed to our cabin at Possom Kingdom to celebrate with my family. I have celebrated the fourth my entire life at the lake and I was thrilled to add Maggie to the celebration. We enjoyed spending time with Uncle A, Aunt Lisa, ChiChi and Poppie. Maggie loved being there so much that she was ready to start her day at 4:30 every morning. We also enjoyed good food which of course included all american hot dogs. Maggie had fun splashing in a pool on the porch, looking out at the lake and swinging in the hammock with ChiChi. I know there will be many more fun memories at the lake!

Rice Cereal!

For the past few weeks, Maggie has been staring at Danny and I when we eat. So I knew it was probably time to start solid foods. She was so cute when we gave it to her for the first time. She took to it like a pro...I can tell she is going to be a good eater! Enjoy thses pics of the first feeding!

Swim Little Fishy!

Last Sunday, we took Maggie swimming for the first time and she absolutely loved it! It took some time for her to get used to it, but after about 20 minutes, she started kicking and splashing. I am so glad that she likes the water because one of my favorite things to do in the summer is swim. Here are some pictures and a video of our little fishy! Enjoy!

Happy 6th Anniversary!

Today Danny and I are celebrating our 6th anniversary. We calculated the other night that we have actually been dating off and on for 13 years which is so hard to believe. I have to say that I am the luckiest girl in the entire world to be married to such a wonderful man. He makes me laugh, smile and makes me so happy. I have loved watching him mature into such a wonderful man and it has been a pure joy to watch him become a father. He is so patient with Maggie and I think she is so lucky to have such an amazing daddy. I love him more and more each and every day. Happy anniversary babe!

Photo Shoot

Last night when I was getting ready for our anniversary dinner, I heard Danny and Maggie in her room. When I went in to see what they were doing, there was a photo shoot in session. Danny had Maggie on the bed surrounded by all of her toys and was taking her picture. I have to say it was the sweetest thing ever! Here are some of the pictures from the shoot. Good job Daddy!

Say cheese!

I love my fingers...they are in my mouth all of the time!

Date Night

Maggie has a friend named Charlie who is exactly one month older than she is. Charlie's parents, Ronnie and Kelly, are some of our great friends and we have decided to have Date Night on Thursday nights. Last week, they went out to eat and Charlie came over and played with Maggie. Here is a picture of their first "date" at our house. Too cute!
