Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. Uncle Adam and Aunt Lisa were in town and Maggie loved hanging out with them...and we did too! Uncle Adam and Danny babysat Maggie while the girls went shopping and it went great. We had a Bundy/Whitmire dinner and it was so fun to see everyone. Maggie went to church for the first time on Easter and she was perfect! She slept the entire time as well as at lunch. She had so much fun sleeping while everyone loved on her. She looked precious in her Easter dress! It is so hard to believe that she is already one month old. We are loving watching her change everyday and feel so blessed to have her here.

I have a voice!

This week Maggie found her sweet voice! She was in her crib looking at the cute puppy Uncle Adam and Aunt Lisa gave her and she let out the cutest little "cooo". It was precious and brought tears to my eyes. Here is a picture right after it happen!

What a week!

We have had a lot happen this week!

We started with Maggie's two week doctor's appointment. She weighed 9 lbs 4 oz and is 21 1/4 inches long which is great! We also found out that her left hip is a bit loose and she was diagnosed with hip dysplacia. We met with Dr. Brown in Grapevine and he confirmed this and now Maggie is strutting around in a fancy harness. She is adjusting well to it and we are figuring it all out as well.

Aunt Kara was here all week and brought Maggie lots of goodies and took some great pictures of her. She also helped me out by coming and watching Maggie while I took naps in the afternoon.

Maggie and I had our first lunch date with Chi-Chi on Friday. It was so fun to show her off! On Friday night Danny and I went out on a date and Maggie stayed with Chi Chi and Poppie for the first time.

Saturday was a fun day hanging out as a family. We just stared at her! She is lifting up her head and turnng it side to side and is so much more alert. She loves looking at her butterfly mobile in her crib! We had Pops, Taffy and Kara over for dinner on Saturday and they loved on Maggie all night!

Enjoying every minute!!!

We have had a great week...Maggie is changing every day. Today she was so alert and was awake for two straight hours which I loved! She is starting to lift up her head and really look around. She is sleeping well at night and actually went 4 hours in between feedings last night! I was so proud...and glad to get 3 hours of straight sleep myself! This is a picture of her in her favorite sleeping position. We find her like this every time we get her up to eat. Pretty precious!!!

Hanging out at home

We have had a great first week at home. Maggie had her first bath and she loved it! She looked so cute in her flower towel. She is sleeping and eating great and loves snuggling with her daddy. She changes every day. Today she started turning her head to hear who is talking to her. I am amazed at everything that she does! Danny has gone back to work so Mommy and Maggie have had some great bonding time. We have had a lot of visitors this week and Maggie has loved meeting all of her family and friends.

We are home!

We were able to come home from the hospital on Monday and we were SO happy! Maggie is doing so well and Danny and I just stare at her all of the time. God is so good and we feel so blessed to have this precious child. She is eating every three hours and sleeping a lot...which is good so Mommy and Daddy can get a little sleep.

Getting Ready for Maggie

Here are some pictures of Maggie's nursery. We had so much fun putting it all together and now it is even more fun putting all of the baby stuff to use. Our favorite is the comfy chair that Maggie and I have been sitting in while feeding. She loves to rock.....her daddy says that she is going to love all kinds of music. He bought her an Ipod docking station so we could play music for her while nursing. He is head over heals in love with her!
