Dear Maggie,
Happy 8 month birthday sweet girl! You are growing up so fast and change every day. It has been a great month for all of us! You started army crawling this month and it is so funny to watch you try and get to your toys from across the room. You get so frustrated when you cannot get to one fast enough. You love your Little People Bus and love to chew on the bus driver. You have started to be a lot more independent with your eating. You can feed yourself very well and I have to sneak your veggies in with a spoon! You have liked everything that we have given you which is so great. I have seen your sweet personality really start to shine through this month. You are very laid back (you get that from your daddy) but are very determined when you want something (that my sweet girl, is from me). We left you for four days this month while we went to Mexico for my birthday. You had so much fun with your grandparents, they were so sad that we came home. To celebrate your 8 months, here are 8 things that I love that you do. Of course there are more but here are my favorites.
1. Your smile. It lights up my days and even my late nights when you wake up because you are teething.
2. Seeing you in the morning. Like me, you seem to love the morning. You love it when your daddy goes in to get you and are smiling everytime he brings you to me.
3. Your nose crinkle. When you smile really big, your nose crinkles up. It is so darn cute!
4. Your dolphin laugh. Right now, when you laugh you sound like a dolphin. It makes us laugh!
5. Your constant moving feet and hands. You have twirled your feet since you were teeny tiny and also your hands. It is so cute to watch...you seem to do this when you get really excited and are happy.
6. Your sign for "puppy". This is the only sign you know right now and when you see or hear any dog, you always use it. Precious.
7. Watching you read books. When you look at a book you point to everything and whisper "da", "ma" or "na".
8. The way you light up when you see me. It makes my day and I am so thankful for you!
I love you.
Mommy
